Check of Japan itinerary 15 days / Takayama worth the detour?

Version of a "lazy" rice bowl I like to make, canned tuna in mayo and soy sauce with cucumber and nori and some kimchi. I hope it fits here since I'm not sure you could actually call it Japanese. But at least it's Japanese inspired.
