JohnKras Winter Oak frame build
It just snowed 10" and I always wanted to get a picture of the forth largest oak tree in NJ covered in snow. I put my snow shoes on an hiked back to the tree to capture that morning light. To capture the size of the tree I created a 17 x 48 pano. Once printed I mounted the print to 1/4" acrylic. I used black walnut to create the frame. I cut a 45 degree half blind mortise and tenon to join the frame together. It cam out just as I envisioned. This video shows the build process of the frame. Enjoy and thanks for watching.
